I’m Tim Couwenberg, a multidisciplinary designer and biomaterial developer based in Amsterdam. My work moves between fashion, furniture, architecture, and material research, with a strong focus on creating sustainable alternatives through innovative biomaterials and experimental design processes. By combining aesthetics, craftsmanship, and scientific exploration, I develop materials and objects that challenge traditional production methods and encourage a more conscious relationship between design and the natural world.

I got inspired by my mom and grandmothers's sewing skills, growing up with clothes handmade for me, always had a subconscious impact on me.
